About Me

I am a data scientist, researcher, and maker. My personal projects have lead me to explore a number of disparate topics such as political speech, atmospheric chemistry, neurobiology, electrical engineering, public health, mesh networks, and aquatic botany.

My research interests lie primarily within the field of computational linguistics (NLU), but routinely intersect with:

  • graph theory
  • the digital humanities
  • formal systems
  • symbolic logic

  • My goal is to conduct research which both advances the theoretical as well as re-imagines how and where computation can make a positive difference.

When I'm not doing anything of those things, I enjoy powerlifting, swimming, making espresso, and reading.
